Modern Craft Workshop is the North Cornwall studio of potter Rebecca Proctor. Thrown on a wheel using local stoneware clay, each piece of her tableware is a celebration of hard work, handwork, and quality. The pottery is strong yet fairly simple, perfect for use either at home or in a busy restaurant.

Rebecca is also an author and has written five books (published by Laurence King) on design and craft, as well as working for global trend forecasting company WGSN for several years. However, in recent years she has chosen to focus on making pottery, creating bespoke tableware for outstanding restaurants including The Clove Club in London and Inver in Scotland.

“I knew that I wanted to work with my hands, and as soon as I learned to throw on a potter’s wheel I felt like there were no other options. It brought together everything that I loved and I just made a total commitment to it.”
